Works on routine survey assignments to resolve issues and makes recommendations for new procedures
Project Management:

Works as a task manager on multiple survey projects
May be responsible for contract development and oversight - including preparing and reviewing proposals and cost estimates for internal and external clients with the assistance of an RPLS or Survey Manager
Monitors budget, project tasks and schedule against contract
Assists in evaluating reports such as project summary and detail reports. Introduced to (production level, EI (Task Manager), Rev P and scheduling), reporting.
Works primarily with internal clients but will, under supervision, be introduced to external client management
Communicates with clients on project tasks and routine issues
Under the guidance of a PM, RPLS or manager, monitors or acts on budgeting, invoicing, and accounts receivable

Responsible for field checks
Performs QA/QC of raw data and demonstrates a high proficiency in data review, analysis and manipulation
Delegates tasks to field crew, survey technicians and other staff, as required and under the direction of the RPLS or Survey Manager
Supervises work for staff Field Crews and or other personnel for work production as needed.
Acts as a resource and advisor for technical issues
Provides technical development for staff
Scheduling: responsible for the planning and scheduling of field crews to optimize production
Analyzes and interprets public records research, including deeds, plans and other documents required by the project
QA/QC and read through M&B descriptions with a partner and recognizes and corrects errors
Imports points into CAD software and draws topographic features; prepares Exhibits and M&B
Responsible for writing and proofing M&B, and reviewing final surveys to determine accuracy, or document errors and omissions
Writes M&B for large tracts with intricate detail and boundary reference description


Education and Experience
SIT or
Certification or Bachelors in a related field and 2 years of survey field experience and a minimum of 1 year as a project surveyor or
High School/GED and 6 years of survey field/technical experience and a minimum of 1 year as a project surveyor
